Some yogis say the root to happiness is in the hips. The purpose of this class will be to work on opening the hips. They don't get enough movement or stretching in this Western society where we sit in chairs all day. The ancients said we store all our emotional trauma in our hips and if we don't release it, it can harm us by creating a toxic condition in the body. So come stretch, release and feel the effects of happy hips!
Brings a healthy balance of the mind, body, & spirit that results in an overall feeling of mental and physical well-being. Some yoga experience is recommended, but can be modified to all fitness levels.
This class will help you overcome your fears in poses such as headstand, forearm stand and arm balances. It's a challenging flow that will leave the body toned, balanced and strong. Progress doesn't happen overnight. You'll learn to delay gratification and work towards full potential in the poses while staying relaxed. The effort will become effortless and poses you thought you'd never get become as simple as standing. This class is not for beginners.
Innovative new class incorporating high energy yoga movement, weight lifting and your favorite rock music. This class will give you the energy to get you thru this ultra intense workout leading you to a rock hard body. Rock on!
Gentle Pilates - Beginner Pilates class concentrates on body alignment while loosening joints, increasing coordination and balance.
Power Ball Pilates - Tone and strengthen the powerhouse muscles by combining the Pilates principles of core control and stabilization with the instability of the Power Ball.
