Did you watch the Oscars Sunday night, and think "Wow I wish i could look like that!" Well... wish not more! Here at the Green Spa and Wellness center we have dissected the trends and recreated the looks of the best actresses for you! The stars of the big screen were rocking some seriously chic and sophisticated make-up looks at the Oscars with classic Hollywood glamour being the favourite trend. I recreated the looks of Jennifer Lawrence and Zoe Saldana. Both sexy and sophisticated with concentration mostly on the eyes and skin and neutral colors for the lips and cheeks. Using Jane Iredale make-up here's how these edgy looks came together.
Kristal: Jennifer Lawrence:
To start I used absence facial primer, Warm Sienna liquid minerals foundations and Radiant Pure Pressed Powder to give the face a clean matte finish. Contour and highlighting: I used Mink Pure Pressed Powder to contour the cheeks and forehead and used Moon Glow to give her cheeks the flawless glow. Brows: Her brows were filled in using our Brunette Bitty Brow Kit. Eyes: To start I primed her eyes with platinum primer, i used Shell Eyeshadow for her lid and Silver Lining Dark, for the crease. To finish i used Black Liquid Eyeliner and Black Ice Mascara, Tawny Blush and Pearl Finishing Powder to the whole face. Lips: Nude Lipliner, Nude Lipstick and Cotton Candy Gloss to give it a shine.
Shantay: Zoe Saldana
To start i used Smooth Affair Facial Primer and Brightener. I mixed Coffee and Autumn Liquid Minerals to get the perfect color for her, followed by Autumn Pure Pressed Powder. Contour and Highlighting: i used Mink to contour the cheeks & Ivory to highlight her cheek bones and forehead, finishing with Moon Glow to give her cheeks the flawless glow. Brows: using Brunette Bitty Brow Kit. Eyes: First, I applied the Platinum Eye Primer followed by Platinum Eye Shadow on her lids and Crushed Ice Eyeshadow in the crease. To finish i used Basic Black Eyeliner & Black Ice Mascara. I used Cinnamon Blush to give the cheeks a natural color. Lips: Nude Lipliner and Nude Lipstick for a natural look to really allow the concentration to raise to her dramatic eyes.
